Future bride and groom, here are some simple tips on how to easily plan your proposal so that it will be perfect:
Choose the venue where you will propose. If the venue is a public place, such as a restaurant, let all the employees know so they will be on the same page and will support you in keeping their distance when the moment happens. By doing so, photos and video will be better. If the venue is more secluded, such as a beach or a terrace, hire a two-person team to support you with the dinner and all the details so that everything is ready before the big moment.
Once you decide on the venue, look for photographers or videographers to document the big moment. Event planners sometimes take care of this. Other times, you will have to look for them yourself. Make sure these people have done a wedding proposal session before, as they will know how to sneak in. Have a talk with the photo and video team before the engagement, and agree on the timing and how things will go. This step is CRITICAL for the planning and the photos/video to go well.
Think up what you are going to say to her so she does not get suspicious, but always make sure it is something for her to dress up super nice without getting dubious. Tip: dress up yourself so she does too. If she does not go that way, suggest some outfits because you are going to a special place.
